He slipped away on the afternoon of Wednesday. Lying down after his meal, something that he does on a daily basis.
He had been living in a hospic for the last 10 months. It was hard looking at how the 10 months has taken a toll on him. He has definitely dwindled. I still remember him as the happy go lucky person with disciplined and never shy away from letting you know his opinion.
Life has been good for him albeit hard. It wasn’t a easy life but it is a good one with families always around.
Now he is reunited with my grand parents, his parents and his brother. It will be filled with love.
Thanks for the memories. I will always remember you as the great uncle, the one that always asked me to have my hair short, the one who will sit and flip through all the old photos and giggle when he remembered something.
